HER FAMILY
Mindy adores her family. She is
head over heels in love with her husband of thirteen
years and together they are raising two beautiful,
intelligent, compassionate, funny little boys.
When not in her office, she enjoys gardening,
hiking, biking, camping and writing about herself
in the third person. Mindy and her family live
in beautiful Corbett
Oregon. They all enjoy their neurotic yellow
lab, are jealous of their cat's sleeping abilities,
have fun with their flock of 35 laying hens and
are enjoying the new company of their two African
Toulouse goslings; Lucy and Ethel.
BUILDING AWARENESS
Mindy is passionate about the environment
and her family is very conscious of the need for
all of us to lessen our "footprint" on this tiny
blue planet. Mindy and her husband are hoping
to purchase an alternative fuel vehicle in 2009
and are working on converting their home step
by step into an
alternative energy home. She would encourage
everyone to do small things every day to help
make a difference. If you don't know where to
start, try
here.
BUILDING COMMUNITY
Mindy is involved in community service
and community building. She has volunteered weekly
for the Corbett
Columbia Grange Helping Hands program, donates
her time creating promotionals for local organizations,
such as the Annual
Firefighters Breakfast with Sparky The Firedog
and she developed a community
web site in Corbett Oregon in 2002 which currently
has a mailing list of over 500 recipients and
provides an online community
forum and bulletin board. Mindy has also volunteered
her time in creating many web sites for area organizations
and continually offers her services at significant
discounts to business start ups and non-profits
in her area to help them get the best
foot forward.
SUPPORTING THE GOOD WORK OF OTHERS

organizations and businesses that promote and/or
